Please stop flagging this package as out-of-date.

Note: VCS packages are not considered out of date when the pkgver changes, do not flag them as the maintainer will merely unflag the package and ignore you. AUR maintainers should not commit mere pkgver bumps.

@nekobuster - I do not develop this theme - I maintain the pkgbuild - ask this on their github

Package dependency should be numix-icon-theme-git however listed as numix-icon-theme

fau commented on 2014-01-11 02:23

There's a dependency error. There's no numix-icon-theme in AUR or standard.

tasqa: Yes it does.

If I rerun the install, do I get the new updates? Since it fetches from the git head... I'm not sure.

Should the dependency be "numix-icon-theme-git"

Foreword: you shouldn't expect any support when using AUR helpers. That being said, you obviously don't have numix-icon-theme-git installed.

just tried it on a fresh install and it fails. heres a screenshot

That is not possible, numix-icon-theme-git has 'provides=("${pkgname%-*}")' so it provides numix-icon-theme. It's working here, you must be doing sth wrong.

defendor commented on 2013-12-23 02:39

i have numix-icon-theme-git but this PKGBUILD fails because it can't find numix-icon-theme

alucryd commented on 2013-12-22 01:14

I won't change anything, numix-icon-theme-git provides numix-icon-theme and it is enough for makepkg, the only supported way of installing an AUR package. If you still wish to use a helper, you'll have to explicitely install numix-icon-theme-git first.
