Is anyone getting the following error when running Nyxt?

(sbcl:66572): libsoup-ERROR **: 11:52:38.333: libsoup2 symbols detected. Using libsoup2 and libsoup3 in the same process is not supported.

webkit2gtk does seem to pull both libsoup2 and libsoup3.

The LDFLAGS build issue has been fixed now.

Yup. They're misusing the LDFLAGS variable. I've reported the issue here: https://github.com/atlas-engineer/nyxt/issues/1967

Building is failing again, here's the error messages:

ld: unrecognized option '-Wl,-O1,--sort-common,--as-needed,-z,relro,-z,now'
ld: use the --help option for usage information
make[1]: *** [Makefile:10: libnyxt.so] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/lyh/.cache/paru/clone/nyxt-browser-git/src/nyxt-browser/libraries/web-extensions'
make: *** [makefile:41: web-extensions] Error 2

This also happens when I try to compile it from source, so I submit an issue in their repo.

The issue has been fixed upstream. The build should be working as expected now.

There is currently an issue with building this package on the latest commit. It is being tracked on the github: https://github.com/atlas-engineer/nyxt/issues/1816

EDIT: The issue has been fixed upstream. The build should be working as expected now.

I am adopting this package just to fix the gobject-introspection-runtime issue, but if anyone also wishes to be a maintainer just let me know

Huh it doesn't seem to be listed in the dependencies upstream, maybe it's new and they haven't gotten around to updating documentation yet?

Nyxt requires GI at runtime, so gobject-introspection-runtime must be a runtime dependency.
