I was getting a segfault earlier today. Uninstalled and rebuilt and it works fine now even with AUR enabled, so I'm not sure it's a version problem.

current version segfaults when updating if AUR is enabled

I would argue the OoD comment is wrong because this package is not a commit-based package, but rather a release based one. Additionally, if none of the required packages need the "rel" version, we should remove it from this package. Also, here's a link to the commit that added ENABLE_FAKE_GNOME_SOFTWARE as mentioned below for helpful reference.

plans to add a FAKE_GNOME_SOFTWARE like a pamac-aur?

@ Radiant The PKGBUILD is now fixed

Radiant commented on 2021-12-07 17:11 (UTC)

Package is broken for pamac-tray-icon-plasma. To fix, please change the "provides" section to say "provides=("pamac=$pkgver-$pkgrel")" (without outer quotations).

Hello.

I decided to give up on Pamac-all. I was not the creator of this PKGBUILD, it was given to me. But as I do not have any interest in this version, I decided to orphan it.

So, if you want a supported Pamac version, just use either pamac-aur-git (development version) or pamac-aur (stable one).

Have a good day.

This is working for me now, thanks for the update. @sparklyballs I would try to build again.
