@max.bra - I don't have time at the moment to see what changed from 2.10 --> 2.11. Do you? Simply bumping the pkgver leads to an unusable pi-hole.

@max.bra - Have you noticed that the systemd-tmpfiles --create command in the post_install does not work?
EDIT: there is a pacman hook that does this.
1) Delete line 2 from pi-hole-ftl.install
2) Change line 46 of the PKGBUILD to:
install -Dm644 "$pkgname.tmpfile" "$pkgdir"/usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/$pkgname.conf

well... telling the truth... YES

OK, thanks. Seems odd, no?
max.bra commented on 2017-06-20 12:16 (UTC)
because upstream pihole scripts set those permissions anyway
graysky commented on 2017-06-20 11:57 (UTC)
Why do you install -Dm777 on line 50 of the PKGBUILD?

Oh! Very good then! Strange but good.

Hi Max,
I appreciate your all your help. I have no clue what happened or why it did not work yesterday. Today, I redownloaded everything again and tried to compile it again. It did show me all the warnings like yesterday (regarding the sqlite3VXPrintf function) but this time it did finish compiling and allowing to install it.
Regards

ArchLinux Pi-hole is not officially supported by Pi-hole project. In case of bugs and malfunctions please DO NOT file a report upstream.
First of all check if the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pi-hole) can help then ask here for assistance and tips.
When it will be excluded that the problem does not depend on ArchLinux we will file a bug upstream.
