hi, it doesnt load movies or shows since a week or so, even after flushing config folder/database and disabling vpn, is it just me ?

I think getpopcorntime.is is the continuation of the original popcorn after the website takedown, remember seeing a post about it but better safe than sorry, github works best

getpopcorntime.is is not the same. It has a different version numbering scheme and probably completely different code, maybe even malware – who knows.
I have changed the URL to point to Github again. This seems to be the most stable solution.

pointing to archive.org is not the brightest idea, instead point it to https://dl.getpopcorntime.is/Popcorn-Time-linux64.tar.xz, no further modifications are required and you can also remove unzip from makedepends.
Please update your package or I might be forced to make a orphanage request

@gameslayer try adding to the custom api server field the following: http://popcorn-ru.tk/
If your version does not have the option for custom api, you'll have to download the latest from github and build it. Workaround until https://popcorntime.app/ is up again
