If you are experiencing issues with the VPN then

  • flush the database and restart
  • disable the use of VPN in options and restart again

The movies list should now load properly

Hi @gtklocker thank you for the answer,

I download the https://get.popcorntime.sh/build/Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-64.tar.xz extract it, execute it and works like a charm.

So could you please remove the nodejs dependency.

Regards

@ecruzolivera possibly, would you try without the dependency and let me know how it works for you?

@Archeon what's the sha512sum of the file you have? I just redownloaded it myself and it seems to pass the checks.

Hello, why its listing nodejs as a dependency if its the binary version and you will only need nodejs to build the sources?

I use nodejs with nvm so installing it will probably break my system.

Thank you, although I'm still confused. :p

neitsab commented on 2018-12-23 22:57 (UTC)

@polyzen: if you took the time to read the comments, you would know the reason for the switch. See my comment from 2018-04-18 17:00 (fifth after yours) and the one it refers to.

Anyway, I'll gladly accept the orphan request as I won't have more time in the next few months than in the past ones to manage this package. Om

Is there a reason the stable release isn't what's packaged? If you want to use the latest build, this should be renamed and make use of a more fitting pkgver function.

New builds are available. Last successful build (Build #286 (Nov 17, 2018 8:07:52 AM)).
