npm should be added as a dependency.

This package builds readest from source. It may take more than ten minutes to build, and the building process may consume several gigabytes of disk space.

Unless you need/want to built from source, it is advised that you use https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/readest-bin instead.That package installs in seconds, and will consume a lot less disk space.

However, if you want readest to be included in official arch repositories, please vote this package rather than the binary packages on AUR.
