Ok, you won't have to do anything, with makepkg the package (+ version 5.16) builds fine here. I'll just have to find out what's missing in the package for it to also build in a clean chroot.

sorry, I'm using yaourt and it doesn't have -L. If you really need it I can install it by hand. but it actualy worked fine: .16 installed MD5: fb9be136c2c552a5c5a8f2dda445a07d

Sure, go for it :) I'm starting to think that it'll work just fine. Would you mind using the -L switch for makepkg to create log files and upload those? Just so I know what output is to be expected and which one is not.

should I try .16 by modifying only version number and md5-sum or can't this work?

Ok thanks for the info! Then it might be caused by the fact that I tried to build it in a clean chroot, like I always do. Maybe a missing dependency? What's definitely missing right now is fontconfig, it's required by the build process. That's as far as I got. I begin to suspect I actually didn't build this package here in a clean chroot one, maybe ran makepkg and assumed it would build in the clean chroot ... silly me :D

I just tried to build this package here the way it is. It fails ... Ok, something's wrong, this used to work, I usually don't upload PKGBUILDs that don't work ... Confusing! I'll look into it!

I have to give this package away. I have no idea how to build version 5.16 ... Shameful, but since I don't really use this application, I don't want to use too much time in figuring it out. Whoever feels capable, please adopt it. It IS a very nice application!!!
