It does not build right now, gin version needs to be bumped up in PKGBUILD: _ginver=2.1.2

@hwkiller - Thanks for all your support.

Updated. I tested the compilation, and it compiled fine. Didn't install to test it yet, because I have to use my server tomorrow for a demo. Would like to hear whether the updated version actually functions.

The latest git release is borked anyway, iirc. It wouldn't save any files. I'll fix the patch [yet again] though, to work with Crypto.cpp.

aligoodn commented on 2017-10-06 06:29 (UTC)

Yea, now need to patch Crypto.cpp instead of PosixCrypto.cpp

I'm working on a fix. The SSL patch needed revision with some recent update. Should be up soon.

@balin how did you do it? I have the correct jdk. I changed gwt version to 2.8.1 in PKGBUILD and Inserted those two lines into the ssl.patch file but it still fails.

balin commented on 2017-09-25 13:02 (UTC)

@aligoodn: Thanks - fixed it for me. @hwkiller: Where to send patches/pull requests to?

aligoodn commented on 2017-09-24 06:11 (UTC)

This now relies on GWT 2.8.1 (not 2.7.0), need to update the PKGBUILD for that version. Also GWT 2.8.1 is compiled against java 1.8, so base system needs to have jdk8-openjdk installed and active. Also the openssl patch is missing one two lines in the requisite sections: -#include <openssl/evp.h> +#include <openssl-1.0/openssl/evp.h> Other than that it compiles just fine. Thanks for making this available.

@bioinformatist Try the latest build. Upstream changed some things and broke the package. The package should now be fixed.
