This package is the CLI package provided by Surfshark. It is different to the GUI package. Please only flag this as out of date if Surfshark update the CLI package.

@corban Thanks, I disabled IPv6 but it didn't seem to resolve the issue. When I enable the VPN using the command-line tool, it doesn't even add the VPN DNS servers. It is just my ISP DNS servers. When I import an OpenVPN configuration into the "Connections" setting in KDE, it uses the VPN DNS. I feel like I'm the only person who gets a DNS leak from the Surfshark command-line tool. Do you have any other possible reason why this could be?

@ohobbs72 You can disable IPv6. There is a workaround at: https://support.surfshark.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024470413-How-to-disable-IPv6-on-a-Linux-device-

Is anyone else having a DNS leak? How do you fix it?

Fixed it for me too. Thank you. A note about surfshark-vpn for linux in general: it only supports protection over ipv4, but not over ipv6 (typical DNS Leak)!

so i followed membend's comment then i did makepkg -si --skipchecksums and it worked. it's up to you if want to skip sums or wait until shark fixes it. i also had to reboot before it let me connect to a server.
