@ltorvalds024 → Main difference is that this package is binary. It downloads the latest snapshot compiled for Ubuntu 15.10, adapts it and install. The swift package is a source one, which downloads and compiles the whole thing (which if I recall correctly, requires a minimum of 16GB RAM for the build process)

what the difference between this (swift-bin) and swift (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/swift/) ?

Funny thing, when I commited, build/install actually passed with both makepkg and yaourt (after pushing). In any case, I re-downloaded the snapshot and updated the sha256 field in PKGBUILD/.SRCINFO. Should work now. Thanks a lot for reporting @stardiviner!

I'm currently overseas in china, and can't access things like the GPG keyservers (crappy net, gfw). i don't know when i'll be able to so i'm disowning this.

Again, out of date ...new stable/development snapshots dated 23/04/2016 → https://lists.swift.org/pipermail/swift-users/Week-of-Mon-20160425/001784.html

Please add libtinfo-5 as dependency. The maintainer of libtinfo changed the behavior. See his comment from 2016-04-19 22:22 in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libtinfo/.

Please add the missing dependency: libxml2 Without it the binary won't run.

@scellow i just noticed you were probably talking about the clion-eap documentation, i used '/' for the SDK path.
