It's actually
ugene -ui, but that doesn't work either. You definitely shouldn't need sudo to run the program, nor need to chown. Otherwise other users wouldn't be able to use it! I think the problem is that/usr/share/ugene/ugenecland other files in/usr/share/ugeneare missing theo+xpermission. I've tested ugene-git, and this works perfectly. I think you need try to

Thanks. It looks like you aren't building in a clean directory. You are missing the
