Got the same issue as firewalker and 4582:

xkbcommon: ERROR: Couldn't process include statement for 'us(winkeys)' xkbcommon: ERROR: Abandoning symbols file "(unnamed)" xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile xkb_symbols xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile keymap [21235:21257:0816/120454.717474:FATAL:xkb_keyboard_layout_engine.cc(640)] Keymap file failed to load: us-winkeys

My UI language is Ukrainian, the keyboard has two layouts - "ua" and "us". Also, I found that Viber starts without issues when the keyboard layout is set to "ua" instead of us. Looks like the issue appear only if you have two or more layouts set and the current one differs from the UI language.

The new version has the same problem: Viber can't make or receive a call. The QTWEBENGINE_DISABLE_SANDBOX temporary solution doesn´t work anymore. It is a big problem and I hope someone will find a fix soon.

For my error there is a similar QT-6 bug report.

https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-101201

The error occurs, while running viber. Here is an output:

xkbcommon: ERROR: Couldn't process include statement for 'us(winkeys)' xkbcommon: ERROR: Abandoning symbols file "(unnamed)" xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile xkb_symbols xkbcommon: ERROR: Failed to compile keymap [5797:5822:0814/095939.711430:FATAL:xkb_keyboard_layout_engine.cc(640)] Keymap file failed to load: us-winkeys zsh: trace trap (core dumped) viber"

I will be grateful if someone tell me what to do with that.

@Max77 The link works just fine for me, so it's likely an issue with your system. Check your HTTP proxy settings or if you're on a VPN.
