i had meson-git installed and it was giving me an error at build saying missing: meson, so i uninstalled meson-git and installed meson and everything works.. leaving this just in case someone else is having this problem.

In the AUR letters are not allowed in version tags
That's not true, it's hyphens that aren't allowed, you can use letters freely, which is also used for VCSs in case the version isn't tagged.

@FlyingJay1 In the AUR letters are not allowed in version tags. The number behind the dash is not the version number of zrythm, but the package-build-version. So this seems to be the best way of solving this.

There is no 1.0.0-3 version. The latest tag is v1.0.0-alpha.5.0.1: https://github.com/zrythm/zrythm/tags

For me it compiles nice but there are few checks failed at the end, related to langages generation. These errors break the package creating. E.g. I'm not interested at all in af_ZA language... how can I fix it? I see it complains about writing to messages.mo, but why it is only in few cases and all the other languages are fine?

okay I added rubberband dependency ther is now an additional dependency on python-sphinx-intl which did not exist so I created it on the aur and then including it as a dependency in this package I do not know....
