@somas95: Everything is done you mentioned except for the issue with libspelling. I can't do anything about that in this package. Has anyone created an upstream issue about the problem?

@somas95: I haven't figured out a way to get Meson to detect reveal.js. It neither detects the nodejs-reveal.js AUR package nor the reveal.js tarball extracted anywhere in the source directory.

I'll work on the other issues your mentioned for now.

There are two patches that interfere on how Apostrophe should work.

The meson check was in place to ensure that packagers include revealjs for revealjs exporting. The solution is to include it, not to disable the check.

Apostrophe also relies on the width of Fira Sans characters. The font is hardcoded for that reason.

3.0 requires a patched libspelling and patched sourceview for spell checking to work without crashing the app. See: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/apostrophe/-/issues/526#note_2100960

Patch files here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/apostrophe/-/tree/main/build-aux/flatpak

For example, if you have Check Spelling enabled in Preferences, type ## hello world {#hello} to add a heading with ID and the app crashes when typing the {.

Workaround is to disable Check Spelling.

@ldm: It's fixed with webkit2gtk-4.1 2.42.1-2.

preview is empty

the preview is just blank

EDIT:
very strange... under Wayland the preview works fine, while under Xorg it doesn't

Please add python-chardet to depends array. main.py imports chardet but no other current dependency satisfy it.

@q234rty: It really doesn't matter as it's pulled in, anyway.

❯ pactree -r lua-lpeg
lua-lpeg
├─apostrophe
└─haskell-lpeg
  └─pandoc
    └─python-pypandoc
      └─apostrophe

haskell-lpeg was fixed and the lua-lpeg dependency is probably no longer needed.
