It says "unable to load cinnamon" when I try to log in.

You're welcome! Would you mind testing the GDM session that I just added to the package? Looks like I'll have to compare the PKGBUILD with the Linux Mint DEB's to see why it crashes.

I did run it with the --replace option, actually. I tried cinnamon under Mint 12 and it works even from within gnome-shell. Thanks a lot for your work anyway!

I've added a gnome-session file and xsession file to the package, so that it can be launched from GDM/KDM/LightDM/etc.

@remstereo, ElVirolo: How are you running Cinnamon? It is a window manager, so it must be run with "--replace". Also, I'm not sure you can run Cinnamon from a Gnome(-fallback,-shell) Session. In Gnome, the window manager is launched by gnome-session and if the window manager stops running, gnome-session will try to restart it. Maybe that's why it's crashing...
