These four lines appear to be stopping the package from building properly: -DCOMPIZ_DESTDIR="${pkgdir}" \ -DCOMPIZ_PLUGIN_INSTALL_TYPE="package" \ -DCOMPIZ_BUILD_WITH_RPATH=FALSE \ -DCOMPIZ_PACKAGING_ENABLED=TRUE \ They should be: -DCOMPIZ_PLUGIN_INSTALL_TYPE="compiz" \ -DCOMPIZ_BUILD_WITH_RPATH=FALSE \

GCC workaround removed. Schema files now handled properly. GNOME session files removed as there are a number of packages on the AUR which provide a variety of gnome-session configurations involving Compiz. TODO: split the decorators into seperate packages.

Updated. Cheers :)

I actually disabled the error by adding an argument ("-fpermissive" IIRC) to CXX, and it still built fine, and I use wall all day long without issues :)

Disabled 'Wall' by default until the problem is fixed.

Dependency "compizconfig-python-dev" is missing.

Build fails: http://pastebin.com/vW7VanTn Disabling the WALL plugin in PKGBUILD is a workaround, but sadly, wall is one of the plugins I use the most.

This (and a fix) seems to be reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz-core/+bug/972519
