Can confirm commenting out line 193 resolves the issue.

I can confirm that commenting out line 193 in the PKGBUILD worked for me as well.

Commenting out line 193 in the PKGBUILD results in a successful build.

I am having the same problem as ferda also.

I am having the same problem as ferda.

mv: cannot stat '/home/user/.cache/paru/clone/davinci-resolve-studio/src/squashfs-root/libs/libc++.so.1': No such file or directory

The new PKGBUILD fails for me, error message src/squashfs-root/libs/libc++.so.1 l.184 and l.193 appear to be duplicates.

Hi J193782456, Might be a problem of permissions, /opt/resolve/.license should be rw for the user during activation.. or the activation has to happen as root. I suggest doing a chown , activate, and reown to root afterwards.

Hope this to solve the problem :)

Has of 03-06-24 I had issue with activating my license arch system. I contacted BMS to see if this was on their ends and it seems like my license still work accordingly.

I am not able to pull out logs to see what the error concretely is. The error message translated from my native tongue to English is "error during activation try again"

I try activating it on a different network and a VPN did not produce different behavior.

Hey @DavidNorena Alternatively you could use https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/davinci-resolve-studio-beta. Isn't prepared either, but there is a github clone with the changes for 19.0b1. Isn't much work to replace that then with a newer version. Did it but was to lazy to fix the Download link so I didn't push for a PR. (I just downloaded the Beta with the Browser and then fixed the Version num & checksum without carying for the DL link locally.)
