I'm getting sha256sum errors for DaVinci_Resolve_19.0_Linux.zip. Cleared the AUR build cache and still having the error

It now works for me. Thanks @tendan

I got around the problem by copying the file during the install process from /usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.xxx to /home/username/.cache/yay/davinci-resolve/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0

Not elegant but it worked. The principle is ${srcdir}/squashfs-root/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 doesn't exist, there is no lib folder. Maybe it's a typo?

I had the same issue. In my case, commenting out line 201 and changing ${srcdir}/squashfs-root/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 to ${srcdir}/squashfs-root/libs/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 in line 203 (both in PKGBUILD) solves the issue @Silvolde Also make sure to have this library in /usr/lib

Just tried installing it, got this error:

mv: cannot stat '/home/silvolde/.cache/paru/clone/davinci-resolve/src/squashfs-root/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare(). Aborting... error: failed to build 'davinci-resolve-19.0-4': error: packages failed to build: davinci-resolve-19.0-4

maybe try including this library if you aren't already doing that? @satriani

Sorry guys. I hope everything works this time. The problem is, I can't test it locally at the moment.

The latest push fixed the symlink error for me, but now has a new error (1/5) Reloading device manager configuration... Failed to wait for daemon to reply: Connection timed out error: command failed to execute correctly

@kapy2121 Thanks for updating that directory, I tried that as well, but I think because the install fails, the other required files aren't prepared and so that may fix issues after a complete install, but not before

Is there any part in the PKGBUILD I can edit to get this working before the maintainer fixes it?
