IMPORTANT!

Since version 19.1.3-2 this package will not download automatically the source file from the upstream site.

To build this package you will need to manually download the file from https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/davinci-resolve-and-fusion and place it in the same directory with the PKGBUILD.

This would reduce the mess in this package, making it more readable and clear. Also bypassing the required information from the upstream URL is not allowed in an automated way.

How long would it take for this package to be updated to version 19?

my solution to version mismatch:

1.: echo out $_pkgver before version check

2.: modify major_version and minor_version accordingly (for me it's 19.0 and 0)

3.: run makepkg

4.: a zip will download, but it will fail checksum (obviously) and halt the process.

5.: extract the zip file and follow the pdf instructions. you don't need makepkg or pacman

...

Hi, I am trying to install and it gives the version mismatch error. What do I have to do?

HI couldn't install this package, because it is attempting to download the latest release, which doesn't make sense.

Could you please accept this Patch which removes the latest release check?

There is a small error in the PKGBUILD. Lines 184 and 193 are duplicated. This tries to move libc++.so.1 twice. Which leads to an error.
