I know this is outdated, but the current official pkgbuild's source URL is just giving me a 403 error, so I can't test any update, so won't submit one.

this option "Compare" is from a "Service" that I installed through dolphin itself.

Yes, I did that. I selected two files and looked in the options menu, but I did not find the option for meld.

Btw, I'm using the kde-unstable repository. Maybe that's it.

@malcolm

Where are you looking for it to be displayed? If you select two or three files, you can:

  • right click: https://i.imgur.com/9iQV5se.png EDIT: no, not this one

  • use the "Compare Files" toolbar button, if you have it on your toolbar

  • choose "Compare Files" from the Tools menu

  • use a HUD to type and match "Compare Files"

I also think it was a problem with network error, now it's working. But I couldn't use the meld in the dolphin. No option is displayed, even with it installed. I installed the kompare to do a test and it is displayed.

@malcolm

It seems to build ok with extra-x86_64-build -- -c -n (using the devtools package). I'm not sure the problem is with this package. I'm not even sure what you pasted is an error. If it is, it might be a temporary network issue.

Hi @andykluger, since you know how to create a diff patch and replace Kdiff with Meld, is there how to make triple pane instead of dual pane?
