evdi v1.10.0 was officially only released today. So maybe they also release a displaylink non-beta soon.

@bnavigator good point. I'm only saying that evdi currently pointing to v1.10.0 built successfully for me yesterday against 5.15.12 kernel using DKMS. Don't have the actual dock here, will be ably to test the hardware tomorrow.

@dessert: DKMS tries to compile the module for an old kernel which it does not find any headers for.
linux-headers is at 5.15.12 and linux-lts-headers is at 5.10.89.
Unless you have a good reason to have 5.11.2 installed, you should remove all traces of that kernel from your system and then the DKMS build will not fail (at this stage of the process).

@florax, so you are saying v1.10.0 actually works with current displaylink on your hardware or are you on the displaylink beta?

5.15.12-arch1-1 works if doing it like @direc85 describes.
ERROR: Missing 5.11.2 that's another kernel......

Please note that 5 days ago evdi package was updated to point to a newer tag (
