@DEC05EBA Recently I have noticed that when using the program, it records just fine but my display gets really jittery and it isn't very smooth. I only notice this because I'm like the audiophile equivalent for display smoothness (280hz monitor with secret overdrive settings enabled). Is this just an issue with the newest nvidia driver?
Edit: I found the problem. It's called don't use vsync lol.

@DEC05EBA No problem! :) Also, you don't really have to manually update
-git
packages, as most people use AUR helpers and most of them do that automatically. More info here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VCS_package_guidelinesDEC05EBA commented on 2022-10-06 13:29 (UTC)
@gbr huh, thanks.. I didn't know that you only need nvidia-utils to use cuda.
gbr commented on 2022-10-06 06:29 (UTC)
Hi. Can you drop
cuda
from the dependencies? It's not really required to either build or run the program. Thanks.DEC05EBA commented on 2022-10-05 03:06 (UTC) (edited on 2022-10-05 03:07 (UTC) by DEC05EBA)
@creepergd I forgot to mention. If you use pipewire instead (with pipewire-pulse installed) then you can mix desktop audio and mic audio by using a tool like qpwgraph. It allows you to merge different audio sources into one in any application you want. It's a very simple tool.

@DEC05EBA thanks for the clarification

@creepergd When you record desktop audio and microphone audio they are recorded as separate audio tracks in the video file. There is currently no option to merge audio tracks into one but it's a planned option. In other words, you have to use a video editor to edit the video right now if you want to be able to hear both desktop audio and microphone before you upload the video to youtube, etc.

This tool works great, but the audio doesn't fully work, as I have to pick between recording my mic and my desktop audio. They don't seem to work together. I would like to know if that part not finished yet or if I did something wrong. I really love this program and I want to use it to it's fullest. If you have a fix, can you word it like I'm a child because I've only been using Linux for a month and arch for 2 days lol. I use pulseaudio if that is the problem btw.
DEC05EBA commented on 2022-09-21 23:47 (UTC)
@Typology thanks, it should work on pulseaudio now
