Merged audio was broken and it has now been fixed. Please update to the latest version. The latest version also have some other changes to make video smoother and improve performance on amd when system usage is 100%, when playing very heavy games. Please report if screen recording stopped working after this update.

Videos are recorded in variable framerate mode by default. If you have issues with the video then play it with mpv or switch to constant frame rate mode instead by using the "-fm cfm" option.

I'm at school right now bored in class trying out the program on my intel 8th gen dell latitude laptop and IT WORKS.

I'll try and keep up with reporting bugs from now on

@creepergd Good to know, thanks! yeah, if there is an issue please tell me, it's easier to find the issue if it's reported once the issue happens and I usually fix issues within hours after they are reported.

@creepergd thanks, I found the bug. I fixed it now. Can you try again with the latest version? with merge checkbox checked.

@DEC05EBA interesting so I tried replay with desktop audio only and merging textbox unchecked and it was fine so it's got something to do with the merging I would guess

@creepergd can you test if audio cuts off if you record normally (not using replay)? and try to record your desktop audio only.

creepergd commented on 2023-04-10 03:58 (UTC)

@DEC05EBA For my recording area it's set to my primary display, my audio input is manually set to use my microphone and desktop audio and it then merges them together, FPS 60, Video Quality Ultra, video codec is set to auto, and audio codec is set to AAC because nothing else seems to work for me, all with the overclock memory transfer checkbox ticked (I use the gtk frontend). I use replay with .mp4 at 300 seconds stored on a secondary ssd as well.

@creepergd what options do you use when you launch gpu screen recorder? also make sure you tried the very last version. It updated 1 hour ago.
