schulmar: I'm unable to compile it. Here's a output snippet: https://privatepaste.com/29de3eb45d
I'm using clang from the official repository(extra).

It seems configure and make picked up the wrong python version (at least at my place). I worked around that and for me it builds now.

It doesn't work. I'll try to recompile it. Strange, output was fine.
mtahmed commented on 2013-11-10 11:00 (UTC)
Works with both clang-compiled binary and gcc-compiled binary.
Try re-compiling and re-installing maybe?
Also, try using this test file: http://sprunge.us/LJJL
Compile it and run:
lldb ./a.out
b main
step
See if that works.

It doesn't work for me, did you compiled it with a clang or with a gcc?
mtahmed commented on 2013-11-10 10:02 (UTC)
How are you running lldb? Are you attaching to a running process? Are you running it with the executable as an argument?
I am unable to reproduce using these steps:
1. Create a new file test_lldb.c
2. Include stdio.h and simply printf "hello world!"
3. lldb ./a.out
4. b main
5. run
6. step
Works as expected.

mtahmed: No matter what I do, lldb segfaults. For example: b main, step → segmentation fault. Any ideas what can be done?

Unable to compile lldb:
I used: CXX=clang++ makepkg

When you have this package installed applications that are built against repo-llvm/clang WILL fail unless they are rebuild against this package.
This includes QTCreator, kdevelop , mesa, intel-compute-runtime, gnome-builder to name a few.

Archlinux currently has 3 llvm git implementations
This package
llvm-minimal-git
packages created & maintained by Lordheavy, an arch developer

I've looked good at clang-trunk , llvm-svn, repo llvm/clang packages and think this package is now on route to become a worthy successor to llvm-svn .
llvm-libs-git holds the runtime libraries.
llvm-git
The Package now uses a new environment variable to make ninja behave, NINJAFLAGS. If you want to use it adjust the snippet below to your desired values and add it to makepkg.conf.
Incase you are satisfied with ninja defaults you don't need to do anything.
The check() function fails rather often, but I do suggest to build with them. If build fails due to test failure you can add --nocheck to skip the tests.
