As already mentioned: `asciidoc` is missing in makedepends.

Sure. Because it's a core package. The symlink is gone on the next release. What purpose do either of these things serve in an AUR package? - the install scriptlet refers to a version that this package can't realistically match - the symlink is useless given that this is package is presumably installed after the fact for an installer which is not currently supported.

Please get rid of the compat symlink. It was only ever needed to placate AIF for the netinstaller. The install scriptlet isn't really needed either.
