I found that: testBug3902.mos is for cross compiling FMUs for windows which is optional. This could be fixed by adding mingw cross-compilation packages, but I don't see a need to cross compile to windows. MeasureTime.mos is again an optional feature which can be enabled by including gnuplot in the deps. which I suggest we do.

Have any of you been running the testsuite after it builds for you? I get two tests that fail. Could be an upstream problem, I don't know. Here are the tests that fail: Failed tests: ./openmodelica/fmi/ModelExchange/2.0/testBug3902.mos ./simulation/modelica/built_in_functions/MeasureTime.mos Also, I agree we should drop the 32 bit deps and go with 64 bit and include opencl-headers in the makedeps. @spinnau Thanks for the tip about the HDF5 library

spinnau commented on 2016-06-09 22:16 (UTC)

@Axion Do you have version 1.10.0 of the HDF5 library installed? There are API changes in this version and by now ModelicaExternalC ist not compatible with that. The HDF5 library 1.10 contains compatibility macros for using older API versions in applications. Thus, you can force OpenModelica to use the older hdf5 1.8 API without downgrading the library by adding the following line to your PKGBUILD before configure: export CPPFLAGS="$CPPFLAGS -DH5_USE_18_API"

Hi, I am a newbie to Arch and I am trying to install openmodelica from the PKGBUILD provided on my system. Initially I tried to sort our errors I was facing with dependencies (Arch Linux x86_64 is installed and there was conflict of gcc-multilib). Now, I am getting a build error in openmodelica. The log file is provided in this link. http://hastebin.com/coqidapihu.dos Pls guide me if I am missing something. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, works for me now!

Sorry for late reply, however it works for me. I think we can also drop 32 bit deps in favour of 64 bit ones. As a previous comments said, could also be a good idea to add opencl-headers to makedeps.

@bwood I've added qt5tools to dependencies. Can you confirm it solves your problem. Thank you, Xwang

Can you please try adding qt5-tools to the dependencies? If it solves your problem, I will update the package.

Can you check if it is all right for you too, please?
