I'm sorry to say that I've never used the -bin package myself, but I'm happy to bump the pkgver and dependencies (based on namcap's report) when there's a release. I guess that leaves korrode as full maintainer. :P I don't even use palemoon any more, but I'm happy to maintain the palemoon package while it remains a gtk2-based browser.

Note, I'm not maintaining this PKGBUILD anymore. I haven't used PM for a long time and I'm not following PM's development either. More appropriate person for the task should continue here. (korrode, WorMzy)

That will be likely be because the palemoon distribution servers are currently down due to server failure. Temporary downloads are available here: http://linux.palemoon.org/datastore/temp/palemoon-27.2.1.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2 http://linux.palemoon.org/datastore/temp/palemoon-27.2.1.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 The PKGBUILD will need to be updated for 27.2.1, however. Just bumping the pkgver should be sufficient.

"Should we include ffmpeg also in opt depts?" Nah, gst-libav depends on it already.

ok so with some real-world testing (shouldn't have initially believed html5 test sites ;\ ) and different gst plugin combinations i now see: good+bad OR good+ugly gets you mp3 playback good+bad results in test site claiming you have AAC support but in practice it doesn't appear to work (i think mp4 container is unsupported, i suppose AAC stream in some other containers might work). good+libav (without bad) provides MP3 and AAC support anyway (and the AAC support works in practice), and of course h264 video. So plugins-bad is barely worth mentioning, only someone who for some reason wants to avoid having ffmpeg installed would be interested... basically you had it right in the first place sumt... i'll just slink away now, lol.
