Even after installing the gstreamer sets it still complains and fails.

I had to install gstreamer good, bad, and ugly (0.10). Otherwise pithos would fire up but would throw a "general Gstreamer error" and not play any songs.

The python-distutils-extra package can be installed from the community repo and should be added as a dependency in the PKGBUILD.

Exits with this error: To build pithos you need https://launchpad.net/python-distutils-extra

Needs to be updated for python2 usage. Patch at http://aur.pastebin.com/jTxww0a3 (just updated the pkgrel and change python to python2 to run setup.py).

To avoid the missing plug-in error noted by Loafers, gstreamer0.10-bad-plugins should be a dependency.
