- for rust, optdep should be
cargo.- specify optdeps for python packages https://github.com/releng-tool/releng-tool/blob/ff6245c9cff3445d8fa3e45b87c874f8313ef408/releng_tool/defs.py#L339

Hi,
I suggest you drop the python2- subpackage, since it seems not needed anymore, and it just doubles the number of dependencies to download during the build.
