This package fails to build for me in a clean chroot:

ninja: error: '/usr/lib/libedit.so.0', needed by 'packages/libedit/libedit4pl.so', missing and no known rule to make it
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
    Aborting...

The reported file is provided by the libedit package. The strange part is that cmake does report it as being found beforehand:

-- Found Libedit: /usr/lib/libedit.so.0

Got a clue as to why this happens?

Hello, I have a problem with Swi-Prolog 8.5.11 for x86_64 - Arch Linux.

$ swipl example.pl
ERROR: /usr/lib/swipl/swipl.rc:136: Initialization goal raised exception:
ERROR: source_sink `library(swi_hooks)' does not exist

How can I fix this?

The hanging problem was fixed upstream a while ago.

Does not seem to build anymore on my machine: it gets stuck after:

Thanks, I added cmake to makedepends, and updated the build to produce 20%-30% faster code using Profile-guided-optimization (PGO).

Fails without CMake installed:

PKGBUILD: line 35: cmake: command not found

After installing cmake, one has to rm -rf ~/.cache/pacaur/swi-prolog-devel if you get an error regarding an existing 'build/' folder.
