I have viber on an openbox box and although I get the NetworkManager messages, no Segmentation fault - the program starts ok

I have deleted ~/.ViberPC

and I get to the "scan QR code" screen, but then...

$ viber

I am having a problem with Viber on launch. To fix the icon in the taskbar, execute the following:

echo "StartupWMClass=com.viber.Viber" | sudo tee -a /usr/share/applications/viber.desktop

It could also be integrated into the PKGBUILD by default, @nslxndr

hello there dear arch users! I am having a problem where viber does not load emojis correctly and most of the time, it displays this error rectangle unicode which looks something like this ▯▯▯. Could anyone provide a solution? :))

It's strange that the developer isn't in a hurry to release new versions of the application as quickly as they do for Windows. The new version introduced folders, but there are no updates like that for Linux.
