This package is not out-of-date at this time; the last stable release was in 2020. If you want the beta or git version, create a new package.

Can I trust this software knowing that there is no clear presentation of the source code and that the install script contains binary? A response is appreciated

For the current 2016 version, remove all traces of this 2015 AUR version including all /home, config files, and browser extensions. Download the new version from XDM's site here: http://xdman.sourceforge.net/ and run the install script. Then install the new browser extensions as directed upon launch - old ones do not work.

Anyone know what the file is that's created on your desktop after installing? It's not a launcher just a file that doesn't do anything when clicked. Appears to have the attributes of a launcher when opening it with Gedit. Is it OK to delete, or does it affect Xdman's operation? The programs launcher was correctly installed in my "internet" programs and it's xdm-helper file was properly created in my home folder, along with the program working correctly (on both XFCE and Cinnamon). Not sure what this desktop file is or why it's needed.

Need to fix md5sums to validate files, I am having this issue ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! ==> Validating source files with md5sums... xdm.desktop ... FAILED xdman ... Passed icon.png ... Passed ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build xdman.
