@fisch02 llvm is essential for both clover and rusticl. I don't absolutely want to drop opencl so llvm will stay where it is for the forseeable future.

This package still uses the old mesa format for archlinux. I will update it soon and include va-api as archlinux does. Along with the other suggestion.

Since this is AMD only does that mean VAAPI is not in this package? What would this driver use in lieu for video encoding?

With AMD seemingly focusing on getting ACO in good shape for newer GPU generations, like GFX12, maybe it would be time to drop any dependency on LLVM and just use ACO for RadeonSI? https://www.phoronix.com/news/RDNA4-RadeonSI-ACO-Enabled Also, we would need to disable lavapipe: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/forum/topic/5874/

FYI: Currently mesa/lib32-mesa only build when vulkan-beta=false

Builds are failing with the following error:

mesa/meson.build:4:0: ERROR: Unknown options: "opencl-spirv"
