Sweet, the package installs for me now. Thanks @billypilgrim and @DanMan!

Ah my bad. I've added the OpenAL patch back in now.

As @DanMan said, adding the openal patch again to the PKGBUILD file does the job. Thx @DanMan :)

I was able to build by including the moc and openal patch. Not sure why the openal patch was removed after adding the moc patch to the pkgbuild.

Yep it is with a clean build. yay offers to the option to do a clean build when installing. Let me try clean building all AUR deps of gazebo and see if that resolves the issue for me.

EDIT: yep still getting the same error

I'm having the same issue as bionade24 and acxz. gazebo-hg did build for me however, so maybe we could find the appropriate change in gazebo and apply it as a patch?

Hi all. Have you tried clean-building it? @acxz I noticed you were building it with yay so this could be the issue. It does build on my machine (which doesn't necessarily mean there's nothing wrong of course ;-))

@billypilgrim: Same error like acxz's one occured by me. Could you please investigate?

acxz commented on 2020-01-15 02:39 (UTC)

I am still getting an error, build output here: https://gist.github.com/acxz/5884bd1bff5f9ba8434c09e9cf965b48

@Nim65s I've added the fix and pushed it -- thanks everyone for the help with this.
