I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

Panoramio pictures not displaying, only a white box showing. 64 bit Arch

Det commented on 2013-09-29 16:32 (UTC)

Someone mentioned a while back about the new 64-bit builds being a lot more unstable, and that the i386 deb works better. Well, before I start splitting this to a 'bin32-google-earth' we already got rid of so long ago, for now there's a "_bin32" flag at the top of the PKGBUILD to try it out. I also noticed the Earth getting completely garbled after the switch, so removing ~/.googleearth/Cache/ is required (also mentioned in the .install).

It's not "fixing" to change something that you won't even see. But if it really brings you that much piece of mind, then go ahead, rebuild the whole thing. Shall I personally notify you of changed comments and empty spaces in the PKGBUILD as well?

They don't have to, if it's not gonna change anything :D. Don't you worry about that.

Please always bump pkgrel unless pkgver has been changed! How do you think users get notified of a changed PKGBUILD?
