Someone mentioned a while back about the new 64-bit builds being a lot more unstable, and that the i386 deb works better.
Well, before I start splitting this to a 'bin32-google-earth' we already got rid of so long ago, for now there's a "_bin32" flag at the top of the PKGBUILD to try it out.
I also noticed the Earth getting completely garbled after the switch, so removing ~/.googleearth/Cache/ is required (also mentioned in the .install).

It's not "fixing" to change something that you won't even see.
But if it really brings you that much piece of mind, then go ahead, rebuild the whole thing.
Shall I personally notify you of changed comments and empty spaces in the PKGBUILD as well?

>They don't have to...
.. don't have to what? Notifying users of a fixed PKGBUILD?

They don't have to, if it's not gonna change anything :D.
Don't you worry about that.
rtfreedman commented on 2013-09-28 16:07 (UTC)
Please always bump pkgrel unless pkgver has been changed!
How do you think users get notified of a changed PKGBUILD?
wifi commented on 2013-09-25 08:42 (UTC)
Update to the last version and earth doesn't start anymore.
This is the verbose if started from terminal:

I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.
