@Bohdanator you need to install both packages at the same time with 'pacman -U'.

✔ OBS This is not a Vulkan package: https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver, https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1035845

By default, the 361.28 nvidia drivers will install the legacy, non-GLVND GLX client libraries. The --glvnd-glx-client command line option can be used to override the default, and install the GLVND GLX client libraries instead. Does this package install the legacy GLX libs or the new GLVND libs?

@HenryJia: "Latest beta is 361.18-3" You're yourself responsible for rebuilding AUR packages (https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/nvidia&id=559afb666d83db497ca58c999fdb5c1cfbe13704), and secondly, revision changes in [extra]/nvidia are rarely a reason to flag this.

qt5 has been updated to fix the crash with these new drivers.

From what I understand, it's intended as a shared core library, but simply allows multiple drivers to be used simultaneously: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTQ0NzU I tested my changes with my "new" GT 720. Things seem to work.

Also does it mean that libglvnd needs to be present on the system even if only one vendor driver is installed?

Aren't some changes needed to the mesa packages now that 361.16 includes libglvnd? I guess that's supposed to make nvidia-libgl and mesa-libgl packages be installable at the same time.

How come 361.16 was reverted?

> And what do you recommend? Should I use Manjaro or Arch? I don't understand, by the way, what would his recommendation do to change the distro you consciously chose for yourself. E: Apparently something to do with the line "_major=$(pacman -Q linux | grep -Po "\d+\.\d+")" failing the "pacman" part (see the PKGBUILD: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=nvidia-beta#n62).

FadeMind Can you please point out what is wrong here. Because obviously the linux package is installed. I know manjaro is not arch but most of the packages work here.. So I just want to try. And what do you recommend? Should I use Manjaro or Arch?
