Thanks!

I updated the PKGBUILD, hope I didn't break anything :)

The warnings about $srcdir would need to be fixed upstream.

Hi @qs9rx, thanks for the notification! I don't process LiDAR data for my work (unfortunately ;)) so I am not using PDAL anymore. Would you be willing to take over this package?

qs9rx commented on 2022-03-18 18:21 (UTC)

Upstream had some changes and the build process prints:

CMake Warning:
Manually-specified variables were not used by the project:

    BUILD_PLUGIN_PCL
    BUILD_PLUGIN_PYTHON
    BUILD_PLUGIN_SQLITE
    WITH_LASZIP
    WITH_LAZPERF

so I guess those lines can be dropped. It builds fine with those removed.

FYI there are also some warnings in the end:

==> WARNING: Package contains reference to $srcdir
usr/lib/libpdal_util.so.13.0.0
usr/lib/libpdal_base.so.13.0.0
usr/include/pdal/Dimension.hpp
usr/bin/pdal

Thank you so much for the swift check. Turns out I can also not reproduce it on another system so it is a problem on my end. Thanks for the package!

Hi, I cannot reproduce this unfortunately. It builds just fine on my machine.

The build does not find laszip:

-- The following RECOMMENDED packages have not been found:

* LASzip (required version >= 3.1)
  Provides LASzip compression

I have it installed: community/laszip 3.4.3-1 (128.5 KiB 496.7 KiB) (Installed)
