ArchLinux Pi-hole is not officially supported by Pi-hole project. In case of bugs and malfunctions please DO NOT file a report upstream.

First of all check if the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pi-hole) can help then ask here for assistance and tips.
When it will be excluded that the problem does not depend on ArchLinux we will file a bug upstream.

@graysky yes, no 'release' bump, sorry. there is no reason for those who already have FTL installed to recompile with this flag removed.

cpuesser commented on 2019-06-23 07:49 (UTC)

would be nice, since md5sums don't match anymore

@max.bra - Nice, builds without issue. Did you mean to bump pkgrel=2?

max.bra commented on 2019-06-23 07:40 (UTC)

Workarounded removing -Werror flag until upstream code patching. No version bump due to no code modification. Thanks to all for reporting.

@max.bra - With gcc updates, build fails in a clean-chroot: https://gist.github.com/graysky2/2af8c6bb5808582233f53b866eb249af

Making package: pi-hole-ftl 4.3.1-1 fails Removing the -Werror flag from the makefile allowed me to build this package. Please remove it upstream.

Hello, i have the same problem mentioned before. The system is a Asrock J4105M board with a 64bit Archlinux installation, everything is up to date.

The full buildlog is: https://pastebin.com/KhByCz7u

@xanc hi xanc, I am flattered that you may think I can understand the problem from your message but, unfortunately, it is not. let's start again: your system, your os and a clear pastebin of the compile error, please.

@max.bra - Seems as though systemd-resolved is causing the error. Disabling it and manually setting /etc/resolv.conf fixes it for me :/
