Hi Max,
I appreciate your all your help. I have no clue what happened or why it did not work yesterday. Today, I redownloaded everything again and tried to compile it again. It did show me all the warnings like yesterday (regarding the sqlite3VXPrintf function) but this time it did finish compiling and allowing to install it.
Regards

Hi ChuckHL,
seems to be a specific problem with your architecture.
Have you tried with upstream?
ChuckHL commented on 2017-06-18 06:21 (UTC) (edited on 2017-06-18 06:21 (UTC) by ChuckHL)
I am unable to compile the latest version. When I try to run makepkg it gives me all of the following errors (see file hosted @ pastebin). For additional information, I am running it and compiling it in a Raspberry Pi 3 running Arch Linux AArch64 (Armv8).

Hi Max,
Ooops sorry about that. I totally missed it.
max.bra commented on 2017-06-10 17:50 (UTC)
hi dafero,
what are you talking about?
your "workaround" is exactly done by install script at line:
systemd-tmpfiles --create pi-hole-ftl.conf
dafero commented on 2017-06-10 10:39 (UTC)
In order to solve the LOST CONNECTION TO API issue after upgrading:
mkdir -p /run/log/pihole-ftl
touch /run/log/pihole-ftl/pihole-FTL.log
chown pihole /run/log/pihole-ftl/pihole-FTL.log
systemctl restart pi-hole-ftl.service
:)

This also compiles and works under aarch64 without any extra step. Can you add it to the PKGBUILD? Thanks!

@ChuckHL
there's nothing wrong in your logs.
keep testing without deleting pi-hole-ftl.log and let me know.
p.s.: ftl always fail on exit, at least here on arch. same in my installation. systemd send sigterm and ftl offends. negligible.
edit: typo

ArchLinux Pi-hole is not officially supported by Pi-hole project. In case of bugs and malfunctions please DO NOT file a report upstream.
First of all check if the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pi-hole) can help then ask here for assistance and tips.
When it will be excluded that the problem does not depend on ArchLinux we will file a bug upstream.
