Please kindly remove the bundled glibmm-2.77.0 and use depends='glibmm-2.68', (which is actually on v2.78.0 atm and works with Telegram Desktop).

I tried to update to the latest version using this PKGBUILD: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/alesar1/0fe0685c49c1890a9d23ea55fff1dffb/raw/a0f449b3a2f244222814f4e6eac62e901c7f3e90/PKGBUILD

But I get this error: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/alesar1/dd9cd58b4699e64a64fa1dbc6c6498f6/raw/a8d55993acc8ad0f5464f535472d3b798a552342/64gram_build_log.txt

Does somebody know how to fix it?

Fixed in v1.0.89

qt6-5compat is not needed anymore as dependency.

Since this commit (coming from telegram-desktop v4.8.3).

@kovdan01 I have tested and applied your patch, thank you!

Hello @alesar1. After the latest commit, the following errors occur during build:

/sbin/ld: Telegram/CMakeFiles/Telegram.dir/SourceFiles/core/update_checker.cpp.o: undefined reference to symbol 'lzma_code@@XZ_5.0'
/sbin/ld: /usr/lib/liblzma.so.5: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line

They are caused by removal of the following line in PKGBUILD:

sed -i '/LINK_LIBRARIES/s/$/ \/usr\/lib\/liblzma.so/' build/build.ninja

Since I don't personally like such hacks with auto-generated files, I've prepared a patch altering the cmake scripts so the library dependencies are handled appropriately. I don't have your email, so I've published it here: https://0x0.st/HHVA.patch. Please consider applying the patch. Thanks in advance!

This package is currently unable to build and patches are needed. I couldn't fix it due to my poor knowledge about c++. I'll orphan this package if anyone is willing to maintain it.
