i just built it on a clean chroot and the only thing that was missing was git and it's now fixed

Thank you! :) but I'm having a new error: /usr/bin/ld: warning: libupower-glib.so.2, needed by /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.8.2/../../../../lib/libmutter.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link) /usr/bin/ld: warning: libgnome-desktop-3.so.10, needed by /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.8.2/../../../../lib/libmutter.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link) EDIT: Fixed by simlinking /usr/lib/libupower-glib.so.2 to libupower-glib.so and /usr/libgnome-desktop-3.so.10 to libgnome-desktop-3.so! http://pastebin.com/ZGgyKM8E

you need to add -j1 in the build function next to make. looks like the build is broken for multiprocess. This has been reported

Limit make to -j1, using anything higher causes the build to crash.
