@Weby I am using manjaro and as of now bzip2 1.0.6 seems to be the latest fersion for me. I will eventually check in an Archlinux machine.
UPDATE: It's happening to me in an arch install too. Seems by this thread (https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/63070) that the link won't be added in the future, I guess we'll have to fix it in the package.
Apparently, bzip2 version 1.0.7 (the latest as of right now) removes the /usr/lib/libbz2.so.1 symlink.
You could manually re-add it by issuing the following command : sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libbz2.so.1.0.7 /usr/lib/libbz2.so.1
Or you can downgrade it to bzip2 version 1.0.6.
No clue why they removed that symlink.
Be wary that in doing so, the next update of libbz2 might not work properly (you probably will need to remove the /usr/lib/libbz2.so.1 file before upgrading bzip2).
The application does not start. Starting from command line shows the error output:
$/opt/resolve/bin/resolve
/opt/resolve/bin/resolve: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
(same issue on the davinci-resolve package too)

Can this be updated for beta5?
Does anyone know how to resolve the log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (BtCommon). log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly. error message ? i installed log4cxx from the AUR and reinstalled resolve and then reboot but nothing changed.
Please remove the qt4 dependency.

Not supported officially by Arch anymore, and the whole installation and runtime of Resolve seems to function perfectly fine without it here.
@matbonn, apparently hash has changed (the prior one was confirmed from various sources). I tried downloading again today and i got c323cf3a1d080fdf1b374771e37d293bc7580c4df2e8c389679bd3d207ddb7c0 as well.
It's a pitty Blackmagic doesn't publish hashes :-/
EDIT: PKGBUILD updated, apparently the package has been updated on the 8th of june, and there are some changes in the binaries (although there are no news about it) here's a screenshot comparing the files of both packages https://prnt.sc/o0jn78 Studio version has changed too.
Please check the free checksum. I have downloaded it twice, 1st via Linux then Windows and both times I get c323cf3a1d080fdf1b374771e37d293bc7580c4df2e8c389679bd3d207ddb7c0

Will be updated once 20 beta is released; users should use 19 at the moment.
