Version 15.0b7 segfaults on start, although v14 (stable) and the previous betas worked.

Install fails here, even if i generate the sha256sum and manually edit the pkg file.

The issue for me turned out to be using Bumblebee to emulate Optimus. Using the discrete card exclusively solved the problem

I had the same problems with libssl and the missing libCg.so . After 5 hours I finally figured it out. I had to link two files

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libssl.so.10

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.10

and then when I tried running it, Resolve ended up segfaulting. The thing that fixed it for me was to remove OpenCL support for AMD, opencl-mesa and opencl-catalyst.

sudo pacman -R opencl-mesa

sudo pacman -R opencl-catalyst

and now it seems to be running fine.

Hope it helps somebody out.

I've finally been able to solve that error with the missing libCg.so stuff. Removing opencl-mesa fixed it for me.

sudo pacman -R opencl-mesa

I suspect this has to do with Qt versions?

Logs at /tmp/resolve/logs had:

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb"

Renaming all of the Qt .so files at /opt/resolve/libs/ makes the logs say

undefined symbol: _Z18g_SetPolishEnabledb

I was unable to find any mention of that in Qt source code, but it is however present in the bundled libQt5Widget that was renamed

Renaming just libQt5Core, libQt5Gui, libQt5Sql gives yet another output:

"no screens available, assuming 24-bit color"

Tried running both on GNOME on X11 and KDE Plasma using Wayland

Hopefully that'll get someone closer to solving this
