Thanks. It works perfect on my machine with NVIDIA proprietary drivers Just one suggestion: - Add StartupWMClass=resolve to the desktop file.

This will help adding the app to favorites and prevent glitches on many desktops.

New version 15.2.2 up here in AUR now. Let me know of any issues at https://github.com/codibit/davinci-resolve-studio/issues

I've posted an updated version at github, but I still need to properly test it. Please check https://github.com/codibit/davinci-resolve-studio for the latest version and let me know if it's working properly for you. Thanks

I installed the gui-installer-version and was unable to activate it, even with root. Then I uninstalled that and installed the aur-version. But that seems to be broken as well now. Does anyone have a fix for this? I tried removing leftover files, reinstalling, a vpn, everything. The last resort would be to reinstall arch but you all know why I don't want to do that.

There is a new version, but the installer has changed, it´ll take some time to get it running.

If you need it now, you can try and run the graphical or console installer for now (I'd recommend to first remove the installed package).

Package updated to 15.2.1, changed pkgrel to 1 as per @Ashark's suggestion in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/davinci-resolve .

Package updated to 15.2. I cant test for now, as I have an AMD gpu and have to check if I can get it to work at all with archlinux + davinci resolve.

Can you please update this, version 15.2 is out!

codibit commented on 2018-10-25 11:21 (UTC)

I just updated the package, please let me know of any issues ;) I added a post-install script to remind the user to run as root for activation/serial usage, as pointed out by @alxjsn & @macman. It's also unpacking the fusion templates to the proper directory, as pointed out by @laemplein

laemplein commented on 2018-09-13 06:12 (UTC)

I am on 15 now by editing the PKGBUILD (pkgver=15 and updating the sha256sums= with the downloaded package). It works fine, but I was missing the new Fusion Title Templates. After Installation there was a /opt/resolve/rsf/fusion_presets.zip which I had to unzip to /opt/resolve -> after a restart the new Fusion Title Templates are there!

@codibit when you find time to update this package you may keep an eye on this? Thank you so much!
