Missing fuse2 in makedepends array:

Error:

dlopen(): error loading libfuse.so.2

AppImages require FUSE to run.

if you run it with the --appimage-extract option.

Could we use ./${_installer_binary} --appimage-extract "${pkgdir}/opt/${_pkgname}" in place of calling the binary: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=davinci-resolve#n121

@rjhilgefort you may want to try Lightworks for basic editing. I also get the same error message.

@satriani In conflicts array I think you meant davinci-resolve-beta instead of davinci-resolve.

I can start up DR16. But it crashed when I double-click to show media preview. When I first open DR16 it will go through a quick system check. I can see a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on "graphics card" but I cannot find any related error message in the logs generated by DR16. I tried to downgrade curl as well but the issue still occurred. May I know if anybody with the same issue? My graphic card is GTX760. BTW, I tried to install DR17 but it crashed immediately after loading component.

Same issue here. I already tried downgrading curl, libcurl-compat, lib32-curl to version 7.73.0, But nothing. I've got 11th Gen i5-1135G7, and GeForce GTX 1650. I tried optirun, primusrun, prime-run and with the integrated intel too, but doesn't change. If Ethernet cable is plugged in I got stucked at "LOOKING FOR CONTROL SURFACE". If I unplug ethernet cable It doesn't stuck, but exits after few seconds with the folling output:

@nixit I believe I did- this is the output from my curl --version

[I] ➜ curl --version

I don't have libcurl-compat, but I tried to downgrade that as well.

nixit commented on 2020-12-29 02:16 (UTC)

@rjhilgefort, have you tried downgrading curl and lib32-curl as suggested?

rjhilgefort commented on 2020-12-28 00:54 (UTC)

It doesn't install for me and hasn't for a month or so now. I get the splash screen and "looking for control surface" and then it just crashes. This is what the log output is. Anyone know how to fix this? Or, does anyone know of a video editing utility that works well on linux?
