PerfectGentleman, regarding your disabling ffmpeg in the PKGBUILD because of author's recommendation... I suppose you are basing your 2014-07-03 04:04 answer on <https://code.google.com/p/ddb/issues/detail?id=812>. May I point out that it is a 2.5 year-old bug? Things have changed *a lot* in the meantime and the ffmpeg plugin works fine today (in fact great, it is the only way to play back opus/amr/amw files in deadbeef). On the other hand, the GTK3-based plugins broke with the new 3.14 release so keeping gtk3 disabled is fine.
