IDK if it's just me but downloading 107.0rc2 from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/candidates/107.0-candidates/build2/linux-x86_64/en-US/firefox-107.0.tar.bz2 is throwing error 404.

@MarsSeed

Firefox Beta makes changes to user's default profile and those changes might be incompatible with the older Firefox.

By default, Firefox Beta uses its own profile. I tried to run both in a clean home (with HOME=/tmp/ffhome firefox-beta). Firefox stable (from Arch repository) used the profile "firefox-release" and Firefox beta (from this PKGBUILD) used the profile "firefox-beta".

Are you sure that you never selected the same profile for stable and beta using "firefox-beta -p" ?

Please add conflicts=firefox.

Firefox Beta makes changes to user's default profile and those changes might be incompatible with the older Firefox.

Please kindly add a post-install and preferably a post-remove warning about this fact.

@bittin I just tried installing and running 97.0b5-1 from your commit (c1daa9fe5ca3) and I did not notice any issue, even in a clean chroot.

I tried it with X11 (not Wayland).

Downgraded to Beta 4 as Xulrunner dependencies broke with Beta 5, Would be happy if someone else better in Xul then me took a look when you have time
