@Det, yup, didn't notice you changed the source url in pkgbuild. That worked for me, thank you.
Also noticed 35 version doesn't work properly with gtk-oxygen (using in KDE).

When I open a chrome instance, the page is in full screen mode, I cannot exit. What I can do is just hit ALT+F4 to close the window and open a new one. I am using cinnamon.

I just gave you the link for the PKGBUILD?

@Det, ohh, thank you, I see now. Is there any way to get deb with 34.0.1847.137?
Det commented on 2014-05-21 05:59 (UTC)
The previous version wouldn't help you, because there's only one link for each channel, but: http://pastebin.com/QEPxKwau
We also do snapshots, so you don't have to try to remember what you've done in the past, or ask other people for copies: http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/tree/google-chrome, http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/log/google-chrome

@Det, hi, do you have the previous PKGBUILD version for the 34 version?
35 does not look like a stable release. I feel some performance issues, tabs switching is slow, some rendering issues. Chrome team frustrates me more and more with each new release.

@lucaskatayama, anyone? _Everyone_: http://blog.chromium.org/2013/09/saying-goodbye-to-our-old-friend-npapi.html
cellsheet commented on 2014-05-21 00:03 (UTC)
chrome version 35 has minimization issues where the buffer isn't refreshing and leaves chrome visible on desktop. It also re-draws anything animating (youtube, flash, gif's, etc) over the whole desktop space. Also tool tip text is white on yellow when using black mate theme.

When reporting this package as outdated make sure there is indeed a new version for Linux Desktop. You can have a look at the "Stable updates" tag in Release blog for this.
You can also run this command to obtain the version string for the latest chrome version:
Do not report updates for ChromeOS, Android or other platforms stable versions as updates here.
