Should be a popup that you need to click. It's a know issue from upstream.

Hi, Installation went through. Lightzone Starter appears but no action by executing or double click. Lightzone doesn't start.

try to edit and get:

class javax.media.jai.RasterAccessor (in unnamed module @0x617c74e5) cannot access class sun.awt.image.BytePackedRaster (in module java.desktop) because module java.desktop does not export sun.awt.image to unnamed module @0x617c74e5
